(I am planning on editing his design, so that he has 5 unique merle markings, and 5 unique inuit markings. All inuits except white will have low opacity, and the same will happen with the merles apart from black. The lore I will write for him will consider his future appearance, opposed to his current one.)

"Guardian of Dreams/Demon of Nightmares"
A former God. He used to watch over those who slept, guarding them and consuming their nightmares. The black splotches on his pelt were caused by him absorbing the physical manifestation of nightmares, and it's rumoured that once his pelt is fully pitch black, he'll crumble into ashes. He no longer guards those in the realm of dreams, as one day, many moons ago, a wolf awoke suddenly when Ephialtes was in the middle of consuming their nightmares. The wolf, seeing the purple and black being surrounded by black smoke, mistook him for a demon and the cause of their nightmares. Ever since, he has been slandered as the "Demon of Nightmares", and sigils and charms are often put up to scare him off. These, of course, don't work on the almighty God, but Ephialtes is so salty about it,that he goes nowhere near those who put such nonsense up in their dens.
