Spottedpelt was a loving pupsitter that never left a pup alone in need. She would generously care for not only her own pups, but the pups of others, including adopted ones from the Enclave. She and Lunin were mates and had a wonderful family together, watched each of their pups grow into fine young warriors. Most left the pack in search of their own destiny, but both wolves promised each and every one that they would always be with them. As Spottedpelt became older, Sunmeadow, who was formerly training as a herbalist, decided to leave her position to Breezemoon and joined in helping her old friend take care of new puppies. She eventually passed away one autumn night and it sent Lunin into a deep depressed state. Spottedpelt's spirit visited in his dreams and assured him that everything would be alright and that all she asks is for him to take care of the last litter they had, two sons who would grow into Blisternose and Mudpatch and along with their older siblings and father, would cherish the kind hearted she-wolf that was their mother forever.
