"She inherited your freckles," a voice said as the little pup slept.

"I know, I know," her mothers voice said calmly.

Gadd was born to an alpha, appearently this was a good thing and she was supposed to be very lucky, but she didn't feel that way. When Gadd was very small, her mother would worry a lot, and lie down in a dark cave, or pace around, or complain. Gadd didn't comprehend what it was all about yet, and when she was old enough to, her mother became very quiet instead. She wouldn't reject Gadd when she came to her, but most of the time it seemed as though her mind was elsewhere and barely noticed her existance. Gadd spent most of her time with her father instead, where she was met with joy and love! One day, her parents brought home another pup and introduced him to her. Klo was his name. They became friends, and Gadds mother started acting differently, happier, and the memories of Gadds childhood faded somewhat as she grew. She developed a good relationship to her mother, filled with love, respect and understanding. But Gadd was still affected by her childhood. Without knowing why, she felt like she wasn't enough and always tried her hardest to be there for others and always help them.

She peeked out from the tall grass, inching forward ever so slightly until she could see her prey. It looked up, was it suspicious? She held her breath. The prey lowered it's head and looked away. Gadd leaped out of the brushes and landed on her prey, her brother! Klo let out a yelp and they wrestled briefly before Gadd was victorious.

"Ugh Gadd!" Klo sighed while Gadd laughed.

"It's not my fault I'm so much stronger than you!" She giggled and let him go after giving him a big kiss on the cheek.
