A lone adult wolf laid by a tree one day in the bear mothers wolf pup enclave. Another adult wolf was playing with the multitude of pups in the enclave. This one little pup with the faint blaze sat by the female by the tree and looked at her. She looked worried. What thoughts were going through her head, he couldn't know. How could she be in this position, having only a lone pup with no sibling, despite her supposed destiny of having two pups. And what good would it do to take one from this bear, surely. She turned her head toward a sound and saw a stick laid beside her.
"Are you sad?" Next to the stick, a tiny male pup looked up at her with big white eyes like her own, and a grey coat like her mate.

The female who had brought him home was big and brown and warm, just like the bear that had fostered him. The pup was introduced to someone they called his "syster". This pup resembled a bear cub as well, and he knew it must be the daughter of his new parents. Oh, yes, syster must mean sister!
Little did he know, she would become much more than that
