You approach an old, yet sturdy she-wolf. Her muzzle whitened with age, tail softly wagging as you approach. "Hello there, I suppose you'd like to talk for a moment?" Carefully considering her request, you sit curious about her life in this strange pack. "I'm Petal the packs herbalist." She rises up old joints popping into their places without much issue. She wasn't frail by any means, her body suggesting she was at some point a hunter, boasting long years of exploration. "I was one of the first Micheal invited into the pack, Brentford and Hoizer followed." She paused for a moment, looking towards a worn out sleeping space. "Hoizer isn't with us anymore, but we remember him fondly. He used to be our packs mentor." Unable to understand the suddenly sullen mood of the she-wolf, another younger black wolf approached fresh from a hunt. "Are you okay my dear?" He muzzled her licking the corners of her lips in greeting. Embarrassed as if you saw something you shouldn't you looked away. "Johnson, you're embarrassing the guest." Petal smiled, she continued on talking about previous pack members who weren't with us, before finally the topic of how Micheal met her came to light. "Oh, you're interested in that old story, well I met Micheal after leaving my old pack. Not for any reason other than adventure and new friends. I'm strong willed and while hunting I ran into him chasing the same rabbit. We ended up losing it, but he was friendly and offered to join his new blooming pack. I did, hoping for adventure. I wasn't disappointed. I've seen his pups grow and their pups. I've seen friends come and go, and met Johnson. I've seen strange things I've never seen before and ventured further than I ever could imagine. I've felt sorrow, for the wolves we've lost along the way, but being able to tell their stories, being able to grace their lives and create memories with them. That's what always keeps me going. Well I'd say I've babbled on long enough, shoo I need to made some medicines and I'm sure you're hungry." Johnson chuckles and walks you away from the she-wolf her lips up turned into a smile as she mashed together herbs and sorts them. "We just brought back elk, gotta taste for some?" You noticed this entire time your stomach had been curling around painfully. You greatfully nod as your stomach rumbles. "Great!" Johnson smiles and leads you to the delicious scent of fresh elk.
