The autumn air ran through their fur. Morel looked forward at the snarling wolves, their teeth bared and hackles high. She could feel her companions fur by her side; he must be just as scared as me. Morel took a small step forward and bared her tiny puppy teeth, causing one of the biggest wolves, a black and white female, to falter in her snarl and look on with surprised eyes. A large red and cream male walked forward, keeping his eyes locked on Morel's. He bent his head down to her level and questioned who she was. After brief conversation of the big male wolf, who she learned was named Pheasant, digging around for information on her and Thorn, she agreed to follow them back to their den. Casting a reassuring look over her shoulder to Thorn, he nodded and followed her lead.
