Thora and her brother, Durinn, are the children of Fura, grandchildren of Frigg.
Thora has inherited her mothers' ray-of-sunshine personality and flits about camp interacting with anyone and everyone, always playful and in good spirits. Intelligent and strong, she's dabbled a little bit in every role, trying to find one that fits. She tried hunting but always felt kind of bad for the deer -- obviously, that was a problem. So, she tried her paw at pup sitting. The kids loved her, but the stress was just too much.
Tired of watching her flounder, the previous herbalist Hallr decided to start including her in his visits to Herbert and teaching her the finer points of healing. She took to it like a fish to water, and after Hallr's death, became a compassionate, efficient herbalist.
She thinks Kjell is sweet and funny, and the two make an excellent couple. She and her brother, Durinn, have a classic sibling-style rivalry going on.
AFTER DEATH
Thora continued her duties as herbalist until the end of her days, passing away peacefully under the ministrations of her apprentice, Hera. Her spirit has since become a symbol of good health and safety. Her wisdom concerning medicine and herbs is often sought after by Nightwood's Ladies in visions, and she's often prayed to by those in search of healing and compassion.
