Nishiwe

Banished by his former pack to the far north, Nishiwe found himself wounded and wandering. With a torn shoulder, he made his way towards the southern area of the Appalachians. In the foothills, Susquehanna stumbled upon a bleeding wolf, bringing him back to the Run. Nishiwe started to heal and recuperate, and it was soon revealed that he wasn't the kindest wolf around. A bit self-centered and crude, he labeled himself as lame and unable to hunt or chase after pups all day. 

Dioute was determined to help him, so Nishiwe helps Appalachia in the herbalist area, shredding leaves and counting berries. He gets on Appalachia's nerves a lot, so he often gets out of that work too. He has taken to giving advice to Susquehanna, who has started hanging around him a lot. 

What the Pack doesn't know is that Nishiwe's name and wound is a branding. His name means "he kills" and his wound was meant to leave him for dead or allow his former Pack to recognize him if he ever came back. He used to be a wolf called Azaadi, before the brand and he killed a young wolf, his half-brother and son of the Alpha, in hopes of becoming second in command once he was dead. He doesn't plan on killing any wolves anymore (he wouldn't have much of an upper paw), but causing some mischief wouldn't be past him. He now has a mate, Sioto, who has only given him a daughter - Nisco. He doesn't care much for either wolf, but he didn't mind having a mate to pass on his own legacy. However, he is now getting old and can't participate much in anymore mischief.

However, when wandering in the winter one day, he met a much younger wolf named Seshem and saw another chance to have a son. He spoiled her and helped her into early winter, staying the nights on the colder evenings. When she became pregnant and had a son, he was elated. When she arrived in Wapiti Run, he hardly concerned over what Sioto and Nisco - or the rest of the Pack for that matter - thought. He took to his son Kiolao instantly and though he tried to speak with his bond mate and his affair-wolf, neither will speak to him.

It was revealed that Sioto was pregnant again with his pups and he was eager to know that he was producing so many offspring in his old age. However, he was stunned when Sioto broke off their bond, effectively decreasing their moods. He tried to go to Seshem, but she refused him. Instead, he was left to try and train Kiolao and determined he did not need a mate anyway to raise his son. However, his age started to wear on him and one day, he was found dead on the edge of camp, gone in his sleep. While most were silently relieved at the release of tension, Kiolao was the only one who was devastated.
