Rainwind

Rainwind was a keen little girl who took to every lesson from her elders with enthusiasm. She thought that just being a wolf was the most amazing thing ever. She wanted to be the Pack Alpha one day, but her pupsitter Falconclaw reminded her to slow down and just be a pup for a while.

As an adult, Rainwind hadn't given up on being Alpha one day. But she was happy to be a chaser for the time being. She loved her job and took it seriously. But after work, she was the life of the party. Anyone who got between her and her fermented barley was likely to end up in a wrestling match.

Now as the Beta, she's still the life of the party, but she's thrown herself even more into her job during the day. She's Alpha Starfall's eyes, ears, and nose on the hunting team and in the Grand Den. When an urgent decision needs to be made while he's out, she's the one making it. When he's considering a big decision that affects the Pack, he trusts her advice. When pups need a hunting lesson, she's the one teaching them. She knows that Alpha Starfall only made her Beta in order to placate her after she wasn't chosen as Alpha. But she appreciates the opportunity to be in charge, if only in a limited way. The Pack has never had an official Beta before, so she's still trying to figure out what her true place is.
