name meaning - cocoa
he was a mommas boy, that’s for sure.
you stopped to take a break at the stream, when the familiar brown fur caught your eye. it was none other than Kakó, son of the late Scout. he has taken her place as lead scout, but everyone can tell his heart isn’t really in it anymore.
its quiet sad.. you thought, as you lowered your head to lap up some more water. the sound of quickly approaching paw steps caused you to jerk your head up. you relaxed when you saw the familiar red fur belonging to Refur.
at least Kakó still had him.. you silently observed the duo, as Refur started to nuzzle his mates neck. Kakó leaned into Refurs’ touch. seems he needed some comforting.
you turned to walk away, you couldn’t stand to smell the scent of the fallen scout anymore. and a part of Kakó knew, he would carry that stench everywhere until the day he was to die, too.
