While the noble scout, Kuma, recently a mother herself went out to continue scouting to fully uncover the desert, she found this young pup in a burrow. Before she had been discovered, she was looked after by a family of ring-tailed cats. The small critters were the first to see the abandoned pup and brought it to a protected burrow under their tree den. For many days they brought her toys and shared their food. She was quite used to sleeping during the hot says and awaking during the cooler, moonlit nights when her odd caretakers would appear. When she was taken in by Kuma to the tribe she quite missed her little family. It took some time for her to stop her nocturnal habit, and she had quite the trouble with talking leading her to have a strange accent. So although the tribe was very welcoming, many watched her with a curious eye due to her odd behavior.
The one that was more than open was Cordelia! She too was different from the rest as she held a great admiration for the moon and night. Something they had a bit in common.
Straight out of training Theradine worked hard as a hunter and not long after she got her bearings in the hunting party her best friend Cordelia joined too!
For many years Cordelia and Theradine remained together, watching the pups they raised grow into fine members of the tribe while others found new homes of their own. Although it took a very long time to realize this, the two loved each other beyond friendship and they finally made their vows to each other under the moon to become mates.
