"I.... usually go by Dew." muttered the lost pup. She had been wandering around on her own, though impressively it seemed she had taken care of herself quite well. A little underweight, but no stench of an unclean pup. In fact, she smelled a little bit of meadow flowers.
"How on earth did you manage to survive out there, pup?" Warwick asked the young wolf calmly, although his eyes clearly burned with a flame that showed he had bitter resentment towards whoever could have abandoned such a young member of their pack.
"Well, when I was out on my own, the scent of so many plants seemed familiar... it's almost... almost like I had smelled them before! Even though I've never seen them in my life, and I don't know their names!" she replied, fully believing every word she said. She had no reason to lie; thankfully, she hadn't been out alone for too long. Her heart hadn't turned bitter yet... although as ditzy as she was, it was impossible to tell if she realized just what her situation had been. Warwick had no reason not to believe her - after all, if she had been lying or mistaken, she could have easily consumed the wrong herbs and fallen ill.
"Dew, you truly seem to be a remarkable pup. Admittedly, our pack has only a small pool of knowledge of herbs. Many of the stories that have been passed down have been forgotten, and many names are known but whether they are dangerous has been forgotten. No wolf wishes to fall ill by mistaking one plant for another. What we are unsure of, we avoid. However, I think you could help us pup-" Warwick's praise excited Dew, her tail wagging for a moment. She continued to listen patiently, wondering what he would tell her. "If we have the names, and you truly have these memories, you could help the pack by identifying a diverse pool of plants that we have avoided for generations. You could help us find old cures and treatments. Would you like to join the legendary pack, the ones known only in passing... Kaiju. We are not monsters of pain or suffering - we are the beasts of survival. We constantly work towards becoming better, faster, stronger, and smarter. We work to help not only ourselves, but others when we can spare the paws. What do you say?"
