Biography
Saga’s 7th born.
From birth, she was a very pessimistic wolf.
She was the only one to tolerate Morana’s weirdness, the halo never bothering her, and the possible evilness of her sibling being irrelevant.
She figured that they were all going to die anyway, so what if her’s is a little bit sooner and by her sister’s hand?
***
One day the adolescent Lyssa and Morana were out exploring, travelling to the plains to be away from the rest of the pack. There they found a rock, a crystal to be more specific. They both admired it, not daring to touch it.
Morana wanted it. Maybe a present of a pretty rock would make the pack believe she wasn’t a threat!
Lyssa wanted it. Morana was given everything by Saga, and technically, Lyssa had seen it first.
The two got into an argument, the two of them both trying to get closer to the crystal, and stop the other from getting close to it.
Lyssa grew tired of it quickly. She decided that this would be the one time she acted, the one time she took something she deserved from her mother’s favourite daughter. She lunged for the crystal.
The world faded back into focus. She was lying on her side, the crystal wasn’t in her line of sight, but Morana was. The older one was leaning over her, panic and concern in her eyes. After assuring her sister she was okay, Lyssa sat up, her surroundings only slightly spinning around her. The crystal was gone.
Morana explained, frantically, that she hadn’t moved it, it had disappeared when Lyssa had touched it. Lyssa was too tired to call her sister out on obvious lies. The two made their way back to the pack, where their story was explained and Lyssa was checked out, and determined to be fine.
She fell asleep with a headache and a small pain in her chest.
Shouts of shock awoke her. Looking up, the other pack pups were looking at her. Sigyn, who had overheard the shouts, raced in, and looked at Lyssa with as much shock as the pups.
“Lyssa?” Sigyn asked.
“Of course?” Lyssa responded, confused.
“You’re an adult!” Belenus chimed in.
“With a crystal in your head!” Arawn added.
Lyssa, in shock, raced out of the cave and to the river.
Oh… Interesting.
