The Paragon's First Born
Although he is not technically Razael's first born, the pack leader has chosen to acknowledge Pan as if he was. The pups before Pan failed to stay with The Kin for long and now the pressure weighs down on him to live up to his father's name. Despite how stressful it may be Pan seems to thrive in this role. He is strong and capable, and more than anything he is willing to fight anyone and anything to gain his father's attention. Razael is proud to see his son growing into a fierce wolf, but he still doesn't spare him from the usual vulgar criticism he gives out to wolves who are too arrogant for their own good.
As time moved on within The Kin, Pan slowly began to fall out of his father's favor. More capable wolves began to join the pack as Pan's trips out to hunt continued to fail one after the other. Eventually, Razael's pride turned sour and he began to resent his eldest living son. His attention turned towards his other offspring, all of who seemed to only displease the leader greatly. Pan did not take the rejection of their father easily, and now he and his siblings rest uneasily. It wasn't until Pan had a meeting with a stranger that they began expecting pups. Luckily for them, these pups proved to be promising straight from birth. For once in his life, he was humbled by the care it took to raise these pups. A softer side of his has emerged and finally allowed him to connect more with the rest of his family within The Kin as they all help him look after the new pups.

During the harsh winter when Pan had his pups, The Kin were struck with many tragedies. They faced both starvation and illness every day as they struggled. It was enough to drive many wolves to desperation. After not having a successful hunt in weeks, a hunting patrol took too many risks to try and catch their prey. The energy they exerted was too much, and in the heart of the winter Pan lost both of his litter mates to the bitter cold.
And if that wasn't enough, by the time Pan's pups were weaned Razael had sent most of them away. "For the good of the pack." He claimed. The line remaining pup, Zazikel, was all of a family Pan had left but even that was taken from him. From the moment he was weaned Dumat took to training him privately as Razael took him as his new heir. Wracked by grief, Pan could do nothing as they had to hand over their remaining child to them.
