"He's perfect." Bayleigh said in a warm tone and looked up to her mate Abner and then to Colt. Abner nodded and opened his mouth to speak but before he could, Colt interrupted him, "With your permission," he bent his head down and looked the pup over before giving a curt nod, "I believe he will be the one to take over, once I'm gone." Abner's eyes widened and he looked to Bayleigh who shared the same expression, "A-Are you sure? He was just born, how can you tell?" Colt nodded and sat down, "When a pup is born, there's tell tell signs of what they'll grow up to be. Some grow to be herbalists, pup sitters or even scouts," he nodded in the direction of Abner and Bayleigh before looking back down and the squirming newborn, "But every now and then you get pups born with signs of great leadership...and this one has all the signs of being a true leader."  Bayleigh slowly nodded in agreement and looked to Abner with a pensive expression and without a word being said between them he spoke, "I can't deny that, you're right Colt." He looked down to the newborn and back to Colt, "Then let us raise him, and teach him the ways of what it means to be a true leader."
