Biography
Descended from the three wolves who founded the pack, and wearing a coat not unlike the first leader's, Koriel was born to be leader of the Roselake Pack. From the moment he could walk, he was taught what it was both to be a wolf, and to be a leader. That didn't mean it was easy, or that the transition was flawless.
Things began going wrong quickly. Naiad passed while he was still an adolescent, leaving him to grapple not only with the grief, but also with suddenly leading an entire pack of wolves, alongside the supernatural Others that called Rose Lake their home and had looked up to Naiad. He counted his blessings that Aerdrie had shared his upbringing, that she had been raised to be his co-leader, and he now had someone with whom he could share his grief and ask for her advice.
Why anyone chose to let these two blunder through challenge after challenge is a mystery. Perhaps it can be chalked up to the sheer number of supernatural wolves who found it entertaining. Koriel set out on many an excursion just as his mother had, and returned from half of them either proudly toting some trophy from an animal or half-dead with his tail tucked between his legs. Aerdrie joined the hunters, and fared only marginally better.
The two readily collapsed together in their den at the end of each day, voicing their dread of the coming day and reminiscing about easier times. But each day that passed, the tone of the dreading lightened. Soon, they were laughing about their respective adventures and mishaps and speculating what (often absurd and amusing) challenge they might face next.
Each day also saw the lanky young wolves growing in strength, skill, and resourcefulness. Soon, Koriel was bringing back all manner of prize: from trophies to meat to fish to herbs and whatever else he could pry from the world. Aerdrie was dragging back the carcasses of all manner of beast for the pack to feast upon, and when hunting no longer satisfied her, she took to scouting, to finding what lies in the far reaches of their territory, what secrets hide in nooks and crannies just waiting to be found.
And though he had grown into an impressive, fully-fledged wolf worthy of leading his pack, of carrying on the legacy of his ancestors, Koriel still managed to find the time for the simpler things in life, like rolling in fields and licking toads.
His ancestors surely look upon him with pride.

The story doesn't end there, no.
Koriel still gets up to plenty of shenanigans, intentional or otherwise. He has, what you might call, Big Himbo Energy.
These include:
• The time he accidentally stole his ally pack's leader's boyfriend for one of his pack members.
• The time he stole the eyes from an undisclosed being in order to return the light to Salena's eyes (had nothing to do with the theft of her boyfriend two seasons prior).
**********
His story did end, however, when he vanished while investigated the Faelcu one quiet, full-moon night. No stranger to fae wolves and other non-mortals, he was well-equipped to learn more about them, but even the brightest and most experienced wolves can be led astray.
