name meaning - moss
the smell of rosemary and burning wood lured you here; before you is a small cavern dimly lit by makeshift candles. you cant help but feel a sense of contentment wash over you, perhaps its the strong scent of ginger and burning coals. that stuff really does work wonders... you let yourself in, taking extra effort to remain quiet. however, your paws making contact with the crunchy dead leaves scattered across the cave floor breaks the silence; drawing all attention to you.
the young herbalist, mosi, jerks his head up and towards you. he’s a little frazzled, his paws stained red from bearberries. 'he must be working hard', you thought. being the packs only herbalist must be a lot of daunting responsibility. he makes his way towards you, and you notice the vines and twine draping and twisting around his body. he smells of charcoal. "What do you need?” his voice was rough like a crackling fire. “I’m kinda busy right now so.. unless it’s important, i should really get back to my studies.” he then began to look you up and down, checking for wounds. despite his aggressive persona, he really does care.
you close the distance between the two of you, and give him a gentle nuzzle. he widens his eyes in shock, and despite his efforts to control it, he can’t stop his bushy tail from swishing back and forth. he lets out an annoyed huff and starts to walk towards his stash of berries, before looking back at you and giving you a quick glance. "If you’re not hurt, you must be here for a reason, right?" he says with a certain tone in his voice. brashly, he picks up the berry in his jaws before tossing it before you. "That one's on the house" he gives you a quick crooked grin, before returning to his studies. you're left there standing in awe at the smoothness of this he-wolf.
