History: Chickadee is the last-born pup of Fox and Nova's second litter. When she was younger, Eagle confided to her that she had been having dreams that a gray and white mottled wolf was destined to be the next leader, and believed it to be Chickadee. She grew up with the pressure of needing to quickly learn to be the next leader, even though she wasn't sure that was the best fit for her. She was given an apprentice as a young hunter, and discovered that the apprentice, Gyrfalcon, was also having strange dreams, some of which had him as a leader. After consulting the spirit wolves, it was revealed that Chickadee wasn't the intended future leader, and she secretly has always found great peace in that. Gyrfalcon always had a crush on her, which she found irritating when he was young, but she was surprised to find that she fell in love with him once he was grown. She became his mate, and they adopted Cardinal together. Later on, Chickadee gave birth to their two biological sons, Jay and Swift. After Daisy, the previous Beta, retired, Chickadee agreed to serve as a sort of placeholder Beta until Starlight—a wolf chosen by the stars to lead the Pack next—was old enough to take over.

Personality: Chickadee is scatterbrained and is very easily distracted and easily fascinated. She is a wonderful hunter once she can get her mind focused on the task, and the Pack praises her as one of the best hunters it's ever had. She's gentle with the young wolves of the Pack, and enjoys being a mother.
