Skarn lost her first litter, one of her pups died at a young age while Coal left on a scouting mission and never returned. She met Calcite and had her second litter. Her two sons Jin and Ysbrand grew up to become chasers when the first hunters retired. Her only daughter, June, left for another pack. She had her last litter and began thinking of who would take her place when she died. She kept only two of her daughters from her last litter, Nayeli and Awinita, the rest went to the mother bear at the enclave. From a young age, it was clear that Nayeli was a natural leader while Awinita seemed to have a great interest in herbalism, although all she would grow up to be is a scouter. Skarn adopted Meztli with Calcite, deciding that she will be a good pupsitter when Unakite and Slate die. Calcite died shortly after adopting Meztli. Skarn turned her focus on leaving the best possible legacy for Nayeli, mourning for her lost mate in her final months of life.

Skarn will always be remembered as a wolf who dedicated her life to helping others, She built Dhuara Pack up from the ground, With help from Unakite, and died serving her pack the best she could. Her Dynasty is continued by Nayeli.
