Diane

The sunlight broke through the now dissipating clouds of an ending thunderstorm, nothing but distant crackles of thunder and rain turning into a light sprinkle. The rays of sun broke through like painted glass and lit up the deciduous forest. A blonde wolfs fur reflected the light poorly due to the grime on her coat.

Her nose was pushing through wet leaves and mud in hopes of catching scent of prey or anything else of interest. Muddy paws and legs show she has been at this activity for awhile, her tired eyes show maybe for too long. 

Diane had eventually picked up a unique scent of a wolf. It did not smell native to the Deciduous Forest but instead the Prairie. Curiosity piqued the young dispersal and she proceeded to follow it. Diane knew all there was to know about this forest. She enjoyed the maneuverability it had.

Upon following the scent close enough, she stopped, hiding behind foliage and a thin tree. Her eyes peeked and glinted from the sunlight through the gaps of the bushes to get a look at who else was roaming around.

It was a brown wolf. Like Diane, the wolf didn't seem to have taken shelter from the rain and her body language showed confusion yet eagerness. An adventurous type like herself then? Diane didn't have time to ponder when the female locked eyes with her from the foliage and raised her head. Distinctive brown markings were on the other females face and Diane found it unique.

The female had no signs of hostility and tilted her head, "Who's there?" There was no hiding now.

Diane stepped out from her cover and kept her distance. The muck was mostly naturally washed away by this point and her fur glowed like the sun itself, catching the other females attention in a positive way, "My name is Diane, the Deciduous Forest is..." She didn't quite know what the word for it was, she lived here but she didn't consider it home necessarily, "I-I'm familiar with it," She decided. "You, um, don't seem to be. Why are you here?"

The female kept a firm stance, she was friendly and welcoming but was making it known she was capable, Diane was intrigued. 

"I am Jasmine. I was formally in a pack located in the Prairie. I wanted to start my own somewhere new." The female spoke as if she knew what she was going to say, words coming out like the clearest water.

This... Jasmine wanted to start a pack? Diane's ears perked with interest and she responded by stepping closer and wagged her tail, "Well, I certainly don't have a pack."  She was looking to join another pack herself after dispersing from her old... problematic one.

Jasmine eyes were welcoming and bright in response to that, "Would you like one?"

Diane gives off a radiating light of warmth and acceptance that's further cemented by her sweet voice and motherly nature. She is the opposite of a troublemaker and avoids fights when possible. But don't take her soft nature for submission, Diane is a tough wolf who was made Beta for a reason. 

Diane gave herself an early retirement as Scout after both Leliana and Hircine came of age and took over the role. Diane decided to spend more of her time personally helping Jasmine out with Lead Wolf duties and mentoring pups in her spare time.
