Adonis

Adonis has always been second best. His sister was older, more mature, prettier, stronger... She was better than him in every way. Even after his sister died, his mother would say that she liked his sister better. That stung.

So Adonis ran away. If his own pack couldn't appreciate him, what use was he to them? He ran through forests, crossed rivers, and went to lands that not even his pack's scouts had been to. He felt alive. Like nothing could ever stop him.

But pride can be fatal . . .

One day, Adonis was walking through a forest and came across a cave. His curiosity took over, and he went in. He came across a mother bear who didn't appreciate a wolf pup coming into her den. He was too arrogant and proud to back down, so he challenged her.

Needless to say, the bear won.

Later that day, Hestia, a scout of the Shaded Summit Pack discovered his mangled body outside the cave, and brought him to their healer. Adonis regained his health, and eventually grew stronger than before in his new pack. His arrogance was long gone, and that was for the better.
