Biography
Isra was born in the Riparian Woodlands greeted by Tala as she wondered she eventually met a wolf by the name of Delta, they held a friendship for many years, he was her right wing wolf. Her best friend; and the stud of their pack, she was carefree, having a paw full of flings through the years as she figured out what it meant to be an Alpha. She looked for the traits in her pups to find who would walk in her steps, and her daughter Rose stepped up to the plate. Becoming a secondary Beta of sorts Rose was the relief her mother needed to feel before truly allowing herself to relax. With those feelings of stability, and after moving and establishing themselves in the great swamps, Isra finally realized what her best friend meant to her. Years now he had dutifully stood at her side as her best friend, her confidant. The father figure to her puppies. And she fell for him hard.
Delta was more then happy to finally be seen by his best friend. He had not waited for her, being the stud that he was, but he had always loved her. They loved hard and freely with one another, enjoying many many runs through their often rainy home, and finally having a litter together, they lost Rush, and then another chose to leave the pack. But Brielle and Kaiya grew strong and healthy. Kaiya showing interest in the medicinal arts while spunky Brielle followed in her older sister Roses steps. Glued to learning the ways of running the pack so she could better assist her older sister when the time would come for her to lead.
Isra was happy. So very happy, she and Delta watched their thriving pups proudly. And eventually adopted two more whom had found themselves lost in the back water swamps. Their age was beginning to slow them at this point, Isra had lost her heats. And so they enjoyed their golden years, Isra still leading though allowing more and more responsibilities to fall to her daughter. Delta began to slow, so she spent more and more time with him. Doing her best to keep him strong and healthy. That they might not be one with out the other.
Sadly, one misty morning, her mate of many many years, lay still. And she cried to the fading morning moon. Hoping he could hear her and would wait for her to join him before pawing across the rainbow bridge. She too was not long for this world. Though several years passed. She never stopped mourning her best friend. Without him she grew quiet, the shine that filled her eyes having left with the tears cried over him.
But still, she was happy. She knew he would wait, before they could both go to greet their long lost friends who had gone before them.
So she watched over their pack, watched her children grow. Watched the young male ZakRyu and her sweet Brielle's romance start to unfold. And watched the sun set one last time over her home and family.
She excitedly awoke, though her breath was stilled, feeling new and fresh. She stepped up from her body, hearing the soft padding of paws in the mists of dawn, and saw him for the first time. No longer greyed with age, Delta stood strong, tall, proud. His eyes alight at seeing her now renewed form.
Together they watched as Rose started the howl. Singing their farewells, their heartbreak, and sorrow at Isra's passing.
She and Delta sang back. Unsure if their soft howls would reach the land of the living, before turning to face the bridge of ever shifting lights and rainbow hues. Taking that next adventure together, side by side always.
