At first beginning as a hunter of the pack, Kapua was quick to be switched onto the scout role instead. She'd caused too many fights within her hunting party, that Hamau spoke with Kai, and they came to an agreement. Kapua only needed to boss around wolves outside of the territory while on scouting missions. Even though she was a little angered of being kicked off the team, she was quick to take up the spot as a scout.
