Gentle Fern came to join the pack as the pack's first mentor, being older and more experienced than even the two leaders. True to her name, she was gentle but firm in her teachings, and the younger wolves grew to respect and love her. She was set in her ways, but it did not impede the teachings of the leaders, and so even Silent Whisper and Frosted Stone respected the ways she dealt with the pups and adolescents.
Lunari took Gentle Fern to the skies in the middle of Summer, Year 2 of the Chosen, leaving behind a kind Juniper (and others) to follow in her pawsteps.
