Biography
First Alpha of the Moriah, mated to Mikha'el
She woke on the floor of a cave to the gurgling of a small spring, laying on a bed of moss, with one thought, one word in her head. Shenandoah. It was her, but there was more... or rather less. There was something missing, something more, but she couldn't put her finger... no, not a finger, paw... on it. There was a fog in her brain hiding the missing. She shook her head, trying to clear the fog, but it was gone. She stood and shook again but it didn't help. Whatever had been there was missing and it didn't look like the missing was coming back.
What is this place? Shenandoah thought to herself as she looked around the mysterious cave. The soft moss under her paws had a faint blue-green glow to it which along with a few odd glowing mushrooms helped to illuminate the cave. It was a decent size for a small cave she thought. It was big enough that 3 wolves could fit inside comfortably and though the ceiling was low her ears didn't touch it. The was one hole in the far wall that stretched into a tunnel. A slight breeze ruffled her fur and carried the scent of sharp pine, rich growing things, and mouth-watering prey. It was safe here but she couldn't remember the last time she ate and her stomach ached.
Cautiously, Shenandoah made her way through the tunnel into a sunlit clearing surrounded by tall pines. Marking the cave she trotted off into the trees following the sound of quails. It wasn't long before she was tucking into one of the birds on a hill under a pine tree overlooking the meadow where she had caught it.
A twig snapped to her right and she perked her ears listening intently. Whatever it was was downwind of her. She scanned the trees, her ears telling her that if it knew she was there, it wasn't trying to hide from her. "Who's there?" she called out.
A few moments passed in silence before a white head popped out between two bushes. "There you are!" the large white male exclaimed, relief clear in his voice, "I've been looking for you!"
