Sable is a granddaughter of Sloane, the pack's first Stalker for Strike Party. Her dam, Slaven, mated to stalker stud Abel in her final heat, producing three pups with very high wisdom & smarts.
Sable did not inherit many interesting aesthetic features, and so she was treated with a purple eye applicator & several RMAs, one of which resulted in selene ornate spots.
Around her fifth year, Sable gave birth to Salvo, a Grulla pup sired by leaderboard stalker Pots. Salvo was the first Sativa-bred T3 related to an original NBW, and he was Pots' only T3 pup (Pots himself was Maltese).
Sable would make the Pack Wolves leaderboard for highest wisdom in her later years, frequently jumping about in position near the bottom of the chart.
On Dec 7, she was #7 for Highest Wisdom at 400.
She was the second Sativa wolf to make any LB list, though the first with old Sativa blood to do so. She was unquestionably regarded as leader of the Strike party in her old age.
