Loki's story began like any other wolf's; with her birth. However, unlike other stories, Loki's mother a sled dog. Her mother's name was Nashaka, and she was a beautiful black and reddish color with heterocromia(meaning she had one blue eye, and one yellow eye).
Now Nashaka was a hard working sled dog, a famous lead dog in her town. Nashaka was a great descendent of Buck, the great sled dog who passed on his genes before joining the wolves of the wild. Like her ancestor, Nashaka was drawn toward the wild, and would disappear into the wilderness whenever allowed. There she met the father of her future pups, Moon.
Moon was a handsome and strong grey wolf, with a few dashes of brown here and there. He got his name because he was the only pup who survived in his litter, born on a fullmoon. He didn't trust humans, or their pets, but something about Nashaka fascinated him, and it wasn't long before they were spending every free they had together. When it became known that Nashaka was with pups, they knew their time had come to an end. Every night after their farewell he would go to their meeting spot and wait, even though he knew no one was going to come.
When Loki was born she was the only pup who couldn't be passed as purebred like her mother, and so Nashaka's owner gave her to his daughter, who named the pup after her most favorite avengers character, Loki. Loki grew up and learned at the paw of her mother how to be a sled dog, but her heart and soul were wild. She was more wolf than dog. When Loki was about 5 months old her beloved girl became sick and passed away in her sleep one night. Nashaka knew that if Loki stayed the pup would grieve herself to death, so she snuck her out and took her to the place she would meet Moon. Both Moon and Nashaka were surprised to see each other, but after explaining, Moon, who was by that time the Alpha of the Fern Pack, took his daughter to her new home and trained her in the ways of an Alpha. When she took over, she renamed the pack Liesmith Pack, in honor of her beloved owner.
