Morning shadow always wondered why her mother insisted on lune being the pack stud. He seemed like the least qualified for the job with his lazy and carefree personality. Even after her mother's passing, she kept him as stud though. There had to be a reason for her mother's coveting him, and hiding him from the eyes of other packs. Her curiosity grew as he bred with one of his daughters. That had been sunrises instructions. (a common occurrence in their world, and was not frowned upon in a lot of packs) Soon, she gave birth to four healthy pups. But something was off. One of the pups looked weird. As if sunlight couldn't reach his pelt at all. Even his nose and paws were black. Very strange, as all his siblings were very brightly colored. She had never seen anything like it. This oddity intrigued her, yet She was still suspicious, thinking this might be a result of lunes constant flings in the lunar world, the dark mirror world infesting lunes genes and causing equally abnormal pups. or maybe his birth had something to do with the deadly illness raging through the pack. Either way, she made sure to take good care of Omen, for fear of repercussions. 

omen has no job. he just lays around his camp all day, pursuing whatever interest pops up in his mind. Sometimes he just up and disappears for a week at a time. Nobody knows where he goes, and nobody wants to ask.
