sociable: it was Halop's boundless enthusiasm and readiness to make friends that first drew Suhad to him, before even his determination to succeed and his interest in herbalism. as a pup he spent his first few moons outside a pack, yet he was fearless around the Pines, and bonded well with his denmates. even now, it's Halop's kindness that his patients appreciate the most.
dedicated: not the inherent genius that Suhad was, but intelligent enough, and more importantly he's committed.
honest: he would never even think to lie about someone's condition, for anyone's benefit. it's what Suhad taught him - lies might seem the better way, but the truth is kinder in the long run. he never gives it cruelly, though. his words are gentle, but can always be believed.

Laisihra: mother. he's her only remaining child, and so she dotes on him intently.
Hoirauc: cousin, though she's more like an aunt to him. when he was young, Hoirauc was there to keep an eye over him, and she's kept up that protective streak ever since. she's proud of him, too, for reaching such a venerated role within the pack; he knows that, even if she doesn't say it outright.
Irnhos: Hoirauc's mate, and there for Halop since he was a newborn pup.
Suhad: mentor. he gave Halop his name, for he said he was just as noisy as a grackle.
Siwur: cousin.

Alucos: cousin.
Kahou: mate.
