Adopted from the Enclave as an older pup, she is Naomi's second cousin, sharing great-grandparents. She was selected due to her natural talents as Graytips' successor (at least, when it came to chasing--leading them fell to Snarls while he was alive). She did not get along with certain members of the Gatherers on most occasions, especially Wilder and Thunderpaw. But during the hunts themselves, she listened to all orders and never flashed a fang at them--only her prey.

During her sixth year, she lost half of a litter of pups due to lacking a nest that was not built for her in time. She blamed Hambone for this, and lost respect for him as a leader since.
