Apollo was abandoned as a pup due to his eye color. His mother refused to have any pups with blue eyes, knowing that they would now survive to adulthood. Trying to spare herself the heartache of losing her pup, she abandoned Apollo. He managed to survive through the seasons until he was found by Luna and they started their own pack.
