Biography
Congrats! You found Arlaeus, a traveling wolf that wanders from pack to pack, seeking adventure and a few nights to rest his paws if you'd let him. If you're unaware with what a Traveler is, feel free to read the rules HERE.
Original owner: Quaileggs --> den profile
This Traveler is mysterious, and likes to show up unannounced. Feel free to gift him to others, but please be mindful of their pack adult slots and if pups will be aging at rollover! We don't want him to be chased if players don't have much room.
You can keep him for up to 3-5 days! Adding anything you'd like to him, including art, decor, and even a little story of his adventures of your pack in his bio (at least 3-5 sentences)!
If you do add something to his bio, be sure to include your name, ID number, and the date you recieved him, just to keep track of where he's been c:
Starting bio:
"You wander through the forest from your previous pack, feeling a bit nervous but hopeful for what comes next. Maybe you'd even meet some interesting wolves with stories to tell. This is your first time being out without a path to follow, so you're hoping this is the right direction and you're not just walking in circles. You look up to see a wolf you've never seen before...was this another pack member outside of your own? You shout out to them with joy, as your journey starts here."
Log:
"I had found a big den full of wolves and pregnant gals all wandering around taking care of the newborns.. how beautiful everyone is so caring. I talked to the lead and she told me I smelt familiar, odd. I spent a few nights after and before I headed out, Pirate handed me a bone to take on the journey.. weirdo." /Added Bone Decor/ - Dahlia#15294 7/19/21
Log: "A pretty scout found me in the edges of the Rainforest and invited me to her pack. They said they had a tradition of hosting wandering wolves and made sure I had food and amused me with stories. They wished me luck when I took my leave, and all the puppies they're caring for made a terrible din." -Ranboo [Dedfa] #32508 added Burrow among the Roots decor
"When I was in the Taiga I was found by a hunting team of young wolves that invited me back to their camp. I spent the afternoon digging out a den in the sandy cliffs next to their own dens, chatting to them all the while. I decorated the front of the den with loose rocks and plants, they said it looked nice! - Embers #3501, added Scarce Understory [Green] 07/22/2021
ALONG the journey, I found a large wolf named Inosuke; the leader of the Demon Slayers. He was stoic at first, uncertain of me - who could blame him, he had a very large pack to protect. After some convincing I entered the pack easily and took to watching over the pups and seeking adviice out of the herbalist, Tomayo, she is highly expertise in it and created a few medicines to show me their works. Soon after a few days through winter into spring, I was strong and ready to travel to the next pack
❝ AS SPRING CAME, my journey brought me to the borders of an ancient woodland. Each winding path seemed to lead me further into the heart of the forest, and by the time it dawned upon me that I was no longer alone, a huntress emerged from the undergrowth — I could sense her distrust even before she asked who I was, and knowing what I know now, I cannot fault her for her initial caution. Once I assured her that I was no threat and a mere traveler passing through, she granted me the opportunity to seek shelter in her home. I soon learned that the pack she belonged to was a small, tightly knit group of woodland dwellers, their sacred traditions and way of life dating back countless generations. She taught me much of their customs while I was there, and when it came time to leave, she placed a necklace around my neck: a token granted by the lead huntress to wish luck and safety to those considered a friend of the pack, or so she said. Farewell was bittersweet, but I knew these memories would live on. ❞ (Juno #47005, added Owl Talon Necklace 06/08/2021)
"Well, I continued my travels north up a mountain. In the dense forest I came across a pack that allowed outsiders to take food scraps to eat, so I stayed for a couple of days. One day I found a beautiful wolf who I courted, but apparently she already had a mate and did not appreciate it. She was much stronger than me and I admittedly lost the fight. I better get out of here before her family goes after me too." Arleus caught influenza from Aud, who he spent a lot of time around during his stay. Tallbarr #29379 Added decor: Scar: forehead
"I found a pup all by his lonesome wandering a small swampy area I stumbled upon. He said his name was Malin and he told me all about his pack as we walked. I decided to try and help him find them again but I couldn't quite follow any scent trails. We roamed for hours in what seemed like circles. I began to feel eyes on me and my discomfort increased when four wolves emerged from the surrounding undergrowth. Malin bounded right up to them, casting a snide glance back my way. Though they were unfriendly at first, they soon welcomed me into their home to my surprise. I was hesitant to join them but my empty stomach urged me to. It was a lovely night. These wolves, the Tellurian Druids as they called themselves, reenacted their past as a form of storytelling. They took great pride in sharing their kill from the day." [Added by Rannoch #38823 08/16/2021]
"After I left the Tellurian Druids, I wandered into the grasslands where I stumebled across a group of hunters bringing back prey to their pack. They invited me to join them and I agreed. Their lead, Dubia Roach, greeted me warmly. He gifted me a flower crown on the pack rules where important wolves in the pack are granted them. Whilst staying there I encountered a beatiful cave that left a mark on me, and some friendly butterflies that readily hovered about the pack's lands." [Added by Breezy#4307 | Decor: Sunlit Cave, Arnica Flower Crown and Artcic White | 08/18/2021]
"I parted ways with the Chryos Pack, and went furthur south to the Prairies. There I was greeted by a grumpy alpha, but most of the pack was happy to greet me. When I arrived. I had met another traveler named Zolfo. He was a kind, gentle wolf, and a pupsitter. We had become friends during our time at the Galactic's Pack camp. I learned a lot from the pack's scout, Potato Salad, who was grumpy to most other wolves but seemed to tolerate me. I enjoyed many feasts the pack had provided for me, and decided to keep some bones as an energy boost for when I move on." "As I reflected on goodbyes with the Galatic's Pack, I stumbled across a ironically night-themed wolf in the prairie. Cobalt was suspicious of me at first but grew to like me. He lead me to the Dragon's Claws pack, who welcomed me with open paws. The wolves were all very welcoming, and I got a cave to myself! I had a nice conversation with the lead wolf Eudialyte, a wolf with an aura. It was hard to get used to the mystic power, but she was friendlier than she looked. She told me of how her sister is a traveler as of right now, and she happily awaits the day Cassiterite comes home and tells her of all her adventures. As I took off and said my goodbyes, a little butterfly wouldn't leave me alone! I decided to take it on my travels." - [Ya Dragon Gurl #32405 | acquired Baltimore Checkerspot decor | arrived on 11/9/21, left on 19/9/21]
"I made my way to a new wooded area, warmed by spring. I gathered some colorful feathers along the way, and made a few friends among the wolf pack who inhabited the place, though I never saw them all together at one time. Just here and there. Still, they were all intrigued by my collection and overall happy to accompany me for a while as I trekked through the trees. After some time, I met no more of their scouts, and I left the woods as if I'd never entered them. Looking behind me, I saw no trace of another wolf; my own paw scarcely made prints in the earth. The forest was not impacted, but I came away with a strange sense of peace." - [confetti 17818 added mouthful of feathers. arrived 9/19/21, left 9/27/2021]

"I find myself unable to remember much about my time in the Deciduous Forest, swear I spent time with more than one pack there, but....I cannot recall many details about such a thing. Regardless, my journey continued into the Riparian Woodlands, a beautiful land with various streams and creaks running through its fields and groves. I found myself stumbling straight into the denspace of the Rockford Pack! They thankfully happily welcomed me in after some chuckles of amusement from my own surprise, where I spent my time either entertaining the pups with my adventure stories, or chatting with the various Travelers and pack members here. Such a wholesome and warm-natured pack this was, even the most seemingly 'unfriendly' wolf finding calm here. With spring fully underway, and soon to turn to summer...I found myself needing to be on the move again, so I said my farewells to this splendid pack. "I was walking through the desert at night when I heard a voice behind me: "BOO!"
I whirled around, snarling, to see a blue wolf standing behind me, laughing uproariously. He looked and smelled real enough, but how had he gotten that close without me noticing? In the moonlight, he seemed a touch ethereal, like he was there and not there at the same time. I backed away slowly, a growl in my throat.
The blue wolf left off laughing. "Oh c'mon, don't be like that, I was just playing-" But I was outta there. I turned and fled and didn't look back." [Lionel #34199 | 10/26/2021]
I came upon a pack in the Glaciers, their lead had just died and a new had been chosen. It didn't take long to notice all of the pups, although when they became of age they were all sent to good loving homes. I found myself smiling softly watching the pack a moment before walking further into the territory. I knew I had already been noticed and most already knew I was a traveler by my looks. I was greeted by some of the pups and enjoyed telling them my stories. After a few days in the pack I bid them farewell before disappearing into the night again. [Blackwidow #43418 | 11/2/2021 | Added Lunar Butterflies]
My time in the Gravemaw Pack started out funny. I was wandering through Taiga for few weeks already, hardly managed to get any food. I was lying under the tree, after another prey ran away and saw a frog. Nothing special to eat, a bit slimy and bony, but food is food after all. Seconds before i took it into my mouth green creature started screeching out loud and grey-ish male wolf ran into me growling. He started to scream something about this frog being his friend or something and calmed down after a while. I apologised, booped frog on its head with my nose and started walking away but Losgann (as he introduced himself) stopped me and proposed shelter in his pack. I gladly accepted it and stayed for few days, playing with pups and telling them my stories.

Moving along towards the Mountains he caught the scent of a familiar wolf, someone he met in the glaciers. As he got closer there was no mistake it was the Adolphus pack. Even in his old age he could move quite quick. He was eager to see the pack again. Once arriving he noticed that a few members had passed including the traveler Ashen. He went and visited her grave and before leaving he was given an owl talon necklace. "Ashen wanted us to pass it on to you if you ever stopped by again. She also wanted to us to tell you she hopes to see you in the stars." He accepted the gift a tear coming to his eye as he headed home. After a little while of searching he found that he couldn't find his home. Either they had moved, or disappeared with all the strange activity last month, either way he made his way back to the Adolphus pack and explained the situation. Bluejay and Uri were more than happy to let him stay and live the rest of his days out within the pack. He was happy here in the Adolphus pack, becoming a mentor for the pups, telling stories, and sharing his experiences. On the last day he knew it was his time to go, he laid next to Ashens grave and passed away peacefully.
