Kamo

Deep in the shadowy jungle, Kamo wandered. He grew up there and rarely saw another wolf besides the local jungle tribe he was once a part of. He had left that pack due to food shortages. A lot of pups is a drain on resources. So he decided to become a lone wolf.

He was hunting when he caught a scent of wind and rain and stone. Which didn't make sense in the jungle. That's the scent of a faraway land. He's heard about the far lands. About packs ruled by weak leaders who would perish in the strength ruled jungle. Who wage wars regardless of the pain it may cause to their fragile minds.

He shook his head and decided to track this new strange wolf, fully intending to chase them off so they don't get killed by a bigger wolf. But to Kamo's surprise, the wolf had stars in their pelt and had a look of intelligence about them. They wandered through the jungle, trading with any creature they could. Fighting jaguars fearlessly. Kamo intercepted this wolf and they identified themselves as the Starbound Queen.

This wolf didn't seem particularly strong. She was cunning and wise and confused her target. She invited Kamo to join her pack, that known as Silverfell. Founded by the legendary Ashcore. Kamo recognized the name Ashcore, he was once leader of the pack of the jungle, the Nature pack which is a subgroup as a pack known as the Elementals, before he left to join his love. If this wolf really is his daughter, then she is much more interesting than she knows.

Kamo agreed to join her and traveled to the unfamiliar lands of wind and rain. He was stunned. These wolves were stronger than Kamo realized. The Nature Branch is cut off from the outside world. So they just assumed that since the jungle had the hardest living, that they were the strongest. But they were also sheltered. This pack survives threats from outside and within. From this plane and others. A constant battleground of light and dark, dream and reality. Kamo wants to learn more

Kamo learned a lot while living in the mountains. It was cold at first but warmed up in the spring. He enjoyed the warm weather and hated the cold which never came to the humid jungle. But it was manageable. There were many pups from this pack and from outside it. Silverfell has treaties and politics and were still much more free to be individual wolves. It was ruled by a strong leader but still lawless in certain ways. Anarchists, villains, heroes, legends, all coexisting semi peacefully. In strife and working together when needed. It was very interesting.

One day, one of the Starbound Queen's pups was made leader for a month to help him practice for the future. They moved the pack to the glacier where winter was year round. Kamo hated the cold. Food was hard to come by and most of the time is was the fatty blubber of walruses and the oily fish, or the trash taste of Gull. The best meat here was stoat and those were unfulfilling and hard to catch. Kamo hates it here. While most seem happy to subsist off of this and little else, Kamo was unhappy and waited for Queen Agethern to bring back small doe carcasses, beavers, and whatever else she finds in her travels. She travels a lot. Kamo was a bit jealous but also looked up to her.

Kamo did not like the king. Such an arrogant brute had no place being a king. Much less in the likes of a wise, graceful queen. He boasts of many achievements and his pure bloodline and his worthiness and acts like he owns the pack. But there's nothing to show and hardly anyone respects him. Kamo least of all. He also doesn't like his puppy, Orthel didn't do anything but Lucius wants him to be the next leader.
