Koda

Koda was the first Breeding Male. He had a long and diverse career- first a pupsitter, then a scout, then retiring to be a mentor. He came into the pack when he and Kaderfound one another while wandering in the mountains. They then met others who also joined, but struggled immensely with illness and starvation until Shadowed Face came and shared her knowledge of the wildlife and herbs in the area. Koda wasn't as close to Shadowed Face as Kader was, but he held a deep respect for the old wolf.

Koda was always there to lend an ear. He was there to comfort orphaned pups. He welcomed newcomers and mended relationships between his pack-members. He loved all of his pack, and was above all, a friend to anyone who needed one.

Koda died before Kader did. Kader mourned the loss deeply, and never got over the loss of her mate. Blotted Sun caught her talking to the wind a few times, asking his spirit for guidance.
