Congrats! You've gotten a Traveler! Welcome to the adventure ;) Here's the forum that explains more and the forum to track them

Scars appreciated since he's a fighter
Ah, Desmond, always a fighter he was. He never got along with any other wolves his age. He's become a Wanderer, a Lone Wolf if you will. His reputation is now that of the best fighters in the territories. And here is is ever-growing legacy: (#36824 TatteredFury)
Decor Log 6/24/21: Added Scar - Ripped Leg [Left]
He came upon a mountain pack where he caused ruckus, he got into a fight with a grey male. A big dark male finished the fight and took him to the outskirts and told him he could stay there if he behaved. A strange pup brought him food in the evening, Desmond appreciated it despite, or maybe due to, the pup giving him the creeps. [by Tallbarr, added the decor "old trauma"]
While wandering through the Rainforest, he was found by a young scout who led him back to her pack. He was offered food and rest and stayed with the elders, though he had little patience for their stories. Instead, he hunted by himself and managed to catch the tail of a brightly colored bird. (Ranboo [Dedfa] added Mouthful of Feathers decor)
===
Wandering North until his paws were buried deep in snow, Desmond came by a pack of wolves living on a Glacier. Their leader, Dangai, had just newly taken over the pack and spoke excitedly of all the travelers they'd had recently. Eating the little food they could spare, Desmond traded stories and even helped to train a couple of pups. The Seireitei offered him some rations to take away with him, along with a little moth friend. - 17th July 2021 - MoscoMoon {Lethan} #1120 (added Arctic Woolly Bear Moth)
===
During his next journey, Desmond found himself in the mountains once again. The pack he came across this time was led by a no-nonsense female named Thatch. She found him skulking around her borders and confronted him harshly, resulting in a brief fight. This fight was ultimately declared a tie however, as the leader's mate Alina broke the two up before any serious injuries could be inflicted (added scar Front Leg [Right] decor, 7/18/21). Thatch seemed to have an odd respect for his boldness and his prowess in battle, thus she offered him a place to rest his head for as long as he wished to stay. - EyeoftheNeedle #46244 - 7/19/21
===
Desmond soon decided to head back North, enjoying how the bite of the cold prickled through his fur and made him feel alive. As he was traveling through the Tundra, he suddenly felt the air around him shift into something he'd never experienced before. This is how he happened upon the Celestial Entities, and he soon became acquainted with the pack of strangely-named wolves. The pack was generally friendly towards him, but his combative nature eventually lead to a scuffle with the particularly malicious Horizon (added Scar: Forehead 7/19/21). They settled on a tentative truce, and soon enough Desmond was once again offered rations as he headed off on his next adventure. (Zeva #16394 7/19/2021)

During Autumn, Desmond travelled to the Taiga where he found a peaceful pack of wolves casually living in the far North of their territory. Desmond was welcomed into the camp, but he wasn't impressed by the sheer amount of pups and doting sitters and shoved a group of young pups dangerously close to the edge of the camp's cliff. While their sitters ran to help, Desmond felt a shadow cover his back as he lay in his "well earned" nest. A deceptively plain grey dog-wolf stood over him and flipped him out of the nest with a huge amount of strength! Desmond yelped in surprise, was warned by the wolf that he was no longer welcome, and was run out of the camp. With no kind of shelter, Desmond had to make his nest out in the woods while rain pattered on him from above. (Added Rain Drops - Embers #3501 7/30/2021)
===
Desmond wandered through the territory of the Bluegrass Pack for a few days, but he wasn't lucky enough to encounter the pack until their herbalist spotted him from afar while foraging for herbs. He couldn't offer anything to help with the male's pain, nor any shelter. The two broke into a scuffle, which ended only in the herbalist's further demands to leave.

Along his journey, Desmond found a pack that called themselves the Tellurian Druids. They told him his name meant "Gracious defender" which just made sense to him. A few of the younger wolves, excited by his tales of many battles, challenged him one by one. The first two, Cheska and Unclouded, were tough but Desmond won against both of them. The last one, however, provided quite the challenge and left him with a new scar. Jedidiah was a name he wouldn't soon forget. [Rannoch #38823 || Decor added: Scar: Hind Leg [Right]]

After sometime alone, Desmond found himself with the demon slayers, on the eve of a new pack leader being crowned - a unique Alpha named Nezuko, whom is a direct descendant of the first pack leader, Moriyama. He found himself easily defending the pack against coyotes and others, but he knew it was also time to start moving on from the peaceful pack.
===
Desmond was traveling through the taiga when he found himself accosted by a small, barely-weaned pup with red-and-black fur. "Enemy wolf!" the pup howled. "Get the scouts!" Then she sprang forward and sank her teeth into Desmond's haunch.
"Fuckin' asshole!" Desmond growled. He set about teaching the pup a lesson. The pup was surprisingly strong, but Desmond had a massive size and experience advantage, and soon the pup was pinned and at his mercy. She growled at him, squirming under his paw. He growled back. "Listen up, you little shit-"
He never got to finish that thought, because an adult red-and-black wolf emerged from the forest and leapt at him. The pup scrambled away into the undergrowth as Desmond fought the newcomer. Heh, is this the mother? Let's see what she's got! It turned out she was really good. And furious. Actually, she's kind of my type... was Desmond's last thought before he blacked out. [Lionel #34199]
===
Waking up, Desmond was in a totally different place. He guessed that he'd been dragged out of that packs territory while he was out. He recognized this place though... Oh! The Tellurian were around here somewhere! Eager to rematch the wolves that beat him last time he was in the area, he rushed off in the direction of their camp.
Upon arrival, he was greeted with warm smiles. After a meal and a few stories, things began to liven up as the moon moved across the sky. Hunting parties went out and puppies started waking and bothering their guardians and so on. Travlin' Soldier, a wolf that introduced himself as a fellow traveler, wanted a fight. How could Desmond refuse? A few scraps, and they both were about evenly matched. Soldier had planned on leaving that night, and said his farewells, hoping to see Desmond sometime in the future for another fight.

Desmond stomped his way to a new forest, where he came upon another pack full of strong young wolves, most of them colored some shade of brown, and all of them eager to put their skills to the test against him. In the end, it took almost all of them to bring him down, and he left with their respect and a new scar to prove his reputation preceded him.
[confetti 17818 added arctic white and scratched front leg left]
Desmond found his way to the mountains where he met a pack that was training their pups. He explained he was a traveling wolf and wouldn't mind helping train the pups. The pack was more than eager to have his help and he went to his duties, he helped sit the puppies and trained the pups and adols. A few of the other pack members watched his skills and decided to challenge him in friendly duals which he was more than happy to accept. They were all fairly matched but yet none were able to beat him, that is until the alpha decided to join in the fun and challenged as well. Desmond was surprised to be put on his back so fast and with such force and agility. He stood and bowed his head in respect to the female leader. After a few days of helping train, telling his stories, and watching the pups grow he decided it was time for him to move on. They were all sad to see him go but he turned back and said. "Don't fret one day I will return for a rematch." With a smile he turned away again and headed off into the forest. [Added by Blackwidow #43418 || Added Scar: Foot]

In the desert, Desmond caught wind of a familiar scent. He never forgot the smell of someone he'd been in a fight with. It was the red-and-black pup who attacked him while he was traveling through the taiga last year.
He followed the scent to a sagebrush clearing where two wolves were fighting: the red-and-black wolf, now fully grown, and a cream merle. Other wolves stood around in a loose circle, cheering on the combatants and placing bets. Desmond shoved his way to the front. "I fight the winner!" he growled.
The red-and-black wolf (her name was Vice) was victorious. Desmond stepped into the ring and squared off against her. She was the heavy betting favorite, but Desmond bet on himself; how could he not? He could tell Vice was strong, but he had experience and guile on his side. He won the match ("Kicking sand in the eyes is cheating," grumbled some onlookers) and a shiny new toy into the bargain. Desmond arrived to Blackmane Pack's territory and wandered, hunting those who will stand against him and for prey. He looked up to smell the air but was met by an Alpha, Itsuki. A darker female wolf stood next to him. He did not like her but was accepting to the Alpha. Itsuki welcomed him to aid and help protect the wandering pups. He stayed for a while but strongly does not like Strange so they both bickered and fought until Itsuki intervened. Strange gave him a new scar to remember her by. Ever since, he will not forget her and earned scar. Even he has given her a scar in return. He then moved on and traveled once again. Remembering Itsuki's forgiveness and kindness, he will be always be welcomed to Blackmane Pack as thanks for protecting their pups.

Desmond had little issue traversing the harsh desert, as he had passed through there before. What he hadn't passed through before, however, was Apricus territory. The morning was warm, but pleasantly so, breeze trailing through the thick ruff of his neck fur as he wandered. It was rather peaceful, Desmond mused to himself as he followed the game trail worn by many paws and hooves before him. He had missed the scent post marking the borders of Apricus (perhaps on purpose) as he followed the hare-scent, nose to the ground. What was that flash of fur under the sagebrush?
He drew himself lower to the ground as the rabbit wandered out from its hiding place, nibbling tentatively on a patch of dry grasses. Before Desmond could strike, a loud call startled the animal and sent it bounding away before he could even react. Whatever it was called out again, and it was then he realized it: that was a wolf! And it sounded young, at that. Desmond followed the sound, nose pointed up towards the wind. As he rounded the corner, the wanderer froze. A small, dark-furred pup had wedged itself between two very large boulders to escape the coyotes that snapped at the small creature. There were four of them, snarling and bristling as they tried to reach for the puppy between the narrow spaces between the boulders.
With a snarl, he attacked the coyotes, expecting them to run. Yet, they fought back, the four of him attacking the warrior in a frenzy of small, yet sharp teeth. Desmond was bloody and battered by the time they ran with their tails between their legs, bleeding heavily from his left eye. Yet, he still offered to take the pup home, if the young one had a home. He was led back to the densite of Apricus, where the Warden Eventide thanked him profusely after hearing the little one recount the tale. His wounds were treated by the herbalist Vulture, and he was welcomed to stay as long as he needed to recuperate. Desmond's stay ended up being a couple of weeks or so, during which he sparred with Eventide. He often bested her, but she showed quick improvement with his help, and the capable she-wolf proved a worthy opponent. Alas, he couldn't stay with Apricus forever, and snuck away during the night as to not cause a stir.
Despite the fact that he never regained use of his eye, he never regretted his good deed for a moment.
After leaving the previous pack he made his way towards the glaciers, there he caught a familiar scent and flicked his ear. He knew this scent, but last he had encountered this scent was in the mountains. He traveled a little further and it was no mistaking it, it the scent of the Adolphus pack. His tail wagged as he headed towards the camp, smiling he could remember his last time with this pack. He was eager for a rematch with their leader, upon arriving though he found the pack was no longer as big as it had once been, the winter having not been good to them. There were less pups and he noticed it was led by a different leader. A few of the pups he had helped trained though had now fully grown and turned to look at him when he stepped into the camp. They went on alert at first until recognizing his scent and tackling him into a hug their tails wagging. He told them stories of his travels sense he left and they in turn told him of their leader passing and how Bluejay became the new leader. He told of the tales of the strangeness of the land and how he got the scar on his eye. He sparred with the pups that were now adults and praised them as they had gotten better since last time. He then sparred with Bluejay, because Bluejay had been picked when he was a pup he had a lot to learn and Desmond was happy to stay and help train him. He congratulated Bluejay and his mate on their positions and new pups. He was happy to have met up with this pack again before he was finished with his traveling. [Blackwidow #43418, Added Scar: Scratched Side]
====================
Desmond had made quite a travel from the icy glaciers. the gentle breeze rolled over the warm hills of the Grass plains. Desmond was able to easily pick up a fresh scent of two lone wolves. hoping to have a safe night with a pack, he followed them. he quickly caught up with the two male wolves. one dark wolf, decorated in different apparel, and a more lighter one- who, despite being blind, had a highly aggressive & asshole personality; but at the same time it doesn't look like he was born blind. they passed a few words and was pretty willing to allow him to come. on the way to the pact, Corvette, the packs main herbalist gave pointers on the best way to heal scars quickly without the need a herbalist.
as soon as they were into the territory, something seemed off. Desmond looked at the other two to see if they also felt the.... Presence.... but they were very deep into a debate of what herb does what. desmond lifted his sword ever so slightly and allowed his fur to bristle just a bit. he narrowed his eyes to focus on the tree line. Desmond could barely make out antlers? well...why not bring an offering for their leader? Desmond went into a hunting crouch, and made his was to the oddly unmoving Elk...
the sound of a deafening crash caught the attention of the two herbalist, and seeing desmond get flung from the tree line immediately got them on guard. Desmond, an experienced fighter, quickly got up with only a few scratches to show for it. "you're strong. almost reminds me of saber." the voice from the woods spoke, and the shadow moved closer. as soon as the voice spoke Corvette and kaleidoscope eased up and welcomed their..leader!?. a large dark brown wolf emerged from the Woodline, decorated in larger antlers and owl wings. "I've heard about you. thought I could give you a surprise sparring match." she joked lightly and motioned everyone to follow towards the center on the pack.
this was going to be a long visit.

Desmond was traveling through the tundra when he caught wind of a familiar scent. "These assholes again?" he said to himself. Grinning, he followed the scent to the den of the Sun Stealers, where he was greeted by a snarling Vice. "Get out," she said.
"What, and give up the chance for a rematch?" said Desmond.
Vice leapt at him. Her pack members circled around, cheering her on. By now, she too was a grizzled veteran, stronger than him and just as wily. She thrashed him soundly, then she and her huntmates ran him out of the Sun Stealers' territory.
As he fled, Desmond thought: "Feh, I'm still 2-1 against that bitch..."

HOME:
Desmond walked stiffly into an old familiar place he hadn't seen since he was a pup. "Desmond"?! He turned around, on guard again. He saw an old she-wolf with one black eye and one white. "I-I know you", he said.
"I never thought we'd see you back here" she said, "but we've heard so much about you. You've become quite famous you know."
"Where am I?"
"You're back home"
"Home…" Desmond trailed off and looked around. It was nice and peaceful here. He could feel an enemy lurking around the corner, one he could not fight—could not see, but could feel deep inside. "Can I stay with you? I'm too old to fight and wander anymore" He have a hard chuckle that broke into a wheezing cough. "Of course Des", and with that, the queen led him to a cozy den just for him. He stayed for another two months, teaching the entire pack, including the pups, how to defend themselves and be good warriors. The pups thought his scars were the coolest ever, and he had to keep a few from making their own, though his missing eye made a couple whimper every now and then. Finally, the old warrior knew peace, and knew it well…
Desmond passed 1/12/22. The Central Wolves are now all skilled in the art of fighting and are determined to keep it passed on for generations to come. His sword marks his grave; any who dare take it must be ready for a life of challenges…
