Al is enigmatic and aloof. He stays on the outskirts of the pack, avoiding trouble as best he can--though Dirge sometimes approaches to try and determine his loyalties and plans. But Alnitak dodges the interrogations and slips away as soon as he can. Not having bonded deeply with any of the others as of yet, he lingers anyway--though it is merely because he has nowhere else to go and has little ambition for more than what he already has. He is content in his mostly quiet life, a loner by choice though he enjoys the companionship of some of the other pack members on occasion--for a wolf is a social creature and he knows it.
