Anyu

Anyu was born to a small removed pack of her own. When she was of age she became a dispersal wolf and left home to search for a mate or a new home, or possibly even both. After some months of travel she came to a new land that was relatively empty, save for a few other lone wolves that were either passing through or attempting to make a living by themselves. There, she met a wolf named Watermark, and they quickly became mates. Together, they started the Secret Forest pack, and quickly they started a small following the the form of a young male named Gyro, a sister and brother named Maya and Demon, and a loner who was taking a break from being alone named Cronos.

The pack flourished at first and things were happy. A black wolf named Leafpaw joined and hunting was going well. Until, one day, Watermark slipped and fell to his death during a hunt. Anyu mourned his loss for a time, broken by the sudden death of her short-lived mate. Leafpaw, who had become a loyal friend, quickly took the place of Beta and helped Anyu run her pack during this rough time. But Anyu found her true solace in Cronos, who kept her quiet company when she needed to distance herself from the main part of the pack.

It was during this time that Demon, who had been waiting in the shadows for an opportunity, decided to try to take over the pack while Anyu was consoling herself on her own. Gyro, loyal to the end, met the challenge and defended the pack. During the fight Anyu and Cronos returned to observe. Gyro won, though not easily, and Demon was banished from the pack, chased off by Cronos himself. For good measure, his sister was also banished.

Anyu found herself falling in love with Cronos, and before long she declared that he would be the second Alpha of the Secret Forest pack, though he had his misgivings. He had always been a wanderer and wasn't sure that he would be able to keep himself in one place forever. His worries rang more true when he found himself itching to move again, and he began to disappear for weeks at a time, leaving Anyu in a deep depression every time he did. Seeing the damage he was doing, he determined to stay with her, but just as he was returning one summer a fierce thunderstorm set the forest alight and scattered the pack.

Cronos and Anyu fled together but were separated as they escaped the blaze. It was six months before they found each other again and rejoined each other, Cronos vowing to never leave her again. Together, they again founded the Secret Forest pack, starting anew.
