Boey

You, Boey, get a spot in the Dynasty for being the pack's third Leader. You were designed after my first dog, and while the design doesn't get all the markings perfectly, it comes pretty darn close. You also were the first wolf of mine to reach 1000 stats, which is quite the milestone. And you are also the first wolf that I've ever retired early - both for lore reasons and to usher in your successor. You were very well loved and are a key part of this pack's history.

Pronounced (BOH-ee)

The third leader of the Silver Falcon Pack. Pup of a nameless stud male and the sheepdog Genny. Pair bonded with the hunter Phais. They had one pup, Annabeth.

Dedicated and determined, a capable leader. Led an uncertain pack out of its darkest times following a vision of a brighter future. Though he was wholly unprepared to take up the mantle of leader, especially following the death of Charri during the plague that was the Blight, his will to hold the pack together and make it through had more than proven his quality to the pack. The necklace that he wore is a gift from Phais that she gave him when they were both pups. A hunter prodigy, she gathered the materials and paw-crafted the necklace herself.

The gray fox often seen around him was named Valstra. She first met Boey when they were kit and pup, respectively. They became friends as they played together, and though Valstra lived in a nearby fox clan, she spent a lot of time at the pack. Unfortunately, when the Blight came, Valstra's home clan was heavily affected, and she was one of the few survivors. The others didn't want to try and rebuild, so they went their own way. Valstra did not want to be alone, so she came to the Silver Falcon Pack and asked Boey if she could stay. Boey, of course, welcomed her warmly. Later, Valstra would rebuild her clan.

The raven that always seemed to be flying around him was named Cococa. Cococa first hung around Phais, impressed by her hunting skills, but was later introduced to Boey. Even though they were quite different, the two became friends with mutual respect. Cococa liked to act as a third scout of the pack, assisting Boey when he went exploring.

...On a chilly autumn day, a male wolf, a stud from another pack, approached the Silver Falcon Pack. He was not alone. With him he brought a barely weaned pup with an unusual appearance. Charri invited the two in and the stud shared his story. (details found in Boey's story in the one lore post). In short, the pup he brought with him was half wolf, half sheepdog. The pup would not have survived had he stayed with his mother, and his father, the stud, had neither the time nor resources to properly care for him. The stud had heard about the Silver Falcon Pack's generosity and hoped to find a family for him there. Understanding his plight, Charri took the pup in, already seeing his potential. The stud promised to keep in touch and hopefully to help the mother stay in touch too, however unlikely that would be.

As Boey got older, he steadily began slowing down. Ever a hard worker, others had become aware that Boey was a chronic overworker, and it was taking its toll on his health. The Blight had deprived him of his puphood, and even though it was now gone, it seemed to have eaten away at his longevity too.
