Lil Extra Spice Growing Up - Azelkalen looked at the other pups, pretty bored. ''Why live boring lives when I can explore, Ma?'' Azelkalen huffed, looking at Sak. Sak looked at the little she-wolf, smiling. ''I know a wolf /just/ like you.. She's out exploring right now, but I'm sure she'll visit in some time..'' Azelkalen looked at her, the little-wolf's eyes sparkling with excitement. ''I'm sure you're Mom will know more, she was great friends with CocoaSoot, she even has a necklace from her.'' Sak smiled, before nudging Azelkalen off.
Azekalen had fun playing with the other pups of the den. She was taught by the Galactics pack mentor skills on how to fight and hunt. The lessons were fun, and so were her playmates. Azekalen met two other travelers, Peregrine and Akros while she was there, and became best friends with the pack's apprentice herbalist. That best friend was Bean and also taught her some basic herbalism while she was still there. Azekalen was given a farewell by the pack adults, and her friends. Before parting ways, Bean gave her a talon necklace, something her mom had made from what she hunted before. Azekalen wore it with pride as she made her way to her next pack. Azelkalen had the funniest experience with the Tellurian Druids, a rat had decided that it liked her and stuck right with her for the entirety of her stay. It was apparently the lead wolf's rat and was named Rambo. An interesting little creature!

Azelkalen spent her time in the mountainous regions of the Southern Borealis Pack chasing butterflies with the pack's many pups. She spent so much time studying them, some have even decided to stick around and follow her through her journeys.

Azelkalen was drinking from a pond at the base of a beautiful mountainside when she heard rustling in the bushes. Pups stumbled out as they chased each other and were wrestling. Azelkalen looked up at them mid lap of water as the pups froze seeing the stranger in their territory. It was merely seconds before a pup sitter burst through the bushes and stood over the pups protectively. Seeing there was no threat the sitter and Azelkalen exchanged a few words before the sitter brought the pups and Azelkalen back to the pack. She met with the other travelers that were there and they all took turns exchanging stories. On the day she was to depart having stayed long enough one of the packs pups, the same one that tumbled out of the bush the first night Azelkalen came upon the pack, brought a bone to Azelkalen its tail wagging so fast its whole body shook. "Take this with you to remember us!!" It exclaimed and Azelaklen nudged the pup with her nose before nodding. "Alright little one I will. Perhaps one day I will return to see how you have grown." Once more on her travels, Azelkalen found the Tellurian. They'd moved from where she first met them to here, amongst the maze like roots! She greeted the friends she'd made before and got to meet new ones. The little rat in particular seemed pleased to see her again. She told them of all the places she'd seen and they did the same. An exchange of stories was always a time of celebration, and they did indeed celebrate! The hunters brought back elk that night and a feast followed.

After a wonderful visit to one of her favorite packs, she moved on, soon to discover a beach beyond the forest. The salty mist in the air coated her fur in graceful dew, and she opened her maw, taking in the smell of the sea, and an unfamiliar scent as well. Surrounded suddenly by strange wolves, they told her that she was welcome among them, despite having many other travelers staying with them already. They exchanged stories of their own journeys, and she even found herself charmed by another wolf during her stay.

Azelkalen was a bit nervous when she found another pack to stay with, mainly because she had a littler of puppies following close behind. Luckily Costello, the lead of the Seas Eclipse, understands the troubles of pups and brought her in with no hesitation. all of her pups managed to grow up and find some new homes and even gave her a gift before she moved on.

This adventure found her in the Riparian Woodlands with the Rockford Pack, a strange bunch of wolves, all endearing and very welcoming! She enjoyed many a nights in the company of fellow travelers, and enjoyed helping out around the pack wherever she could. Soon, months had gone by...and one of the other travelers, Peregrine, and a litter of pups from the pack's resident stud!...quite the alluring individual that she was tempted by herself, but decided to wait a little longer before her next litter. So she instead took to helping Peregrine with his, giving him breaks when he needed it, and she enjoy every moment! Strange things began happening across the land, making Azelkalen antsy and feeling the need to start the journey once more. So, after a final meal and playtime with the pups, it was time to move on. ♥

Azelkalen enjoyed her visit within the Coniferous Forest. She has met up with another Traveler along her travels before visiting Blackmane Pack. Both decided to travel together before parting ways from visiting another pack. Itsuki welcomed both travelers with open paws. She gladly helped and trained pups, even the winter has treated them well and blessed the pack. She was impressed how well trained and mannered each pup and pack members were towards other travelers. Both visiting Travelers decided to move on and part ways after saying their farewells to each other and to the pack.

When Azelkalen arrived at the Sun Stealers' den, their herbalist Veselka was giving a lesson to her apprentice Cylas. Azel watched with interest. She'd always been fascinated by herbalism, but being a traveler left little time for study. Veselka invited Azel to join the lesson and showed her how to fashion a simple healing salve in case she got injured on her travels. "It isn't much," she warned, "but it'll keep you going until you can get seen by a proper medicine wolf."

Azelkalen trotted away, burgeoned by her new herb knowledge and able to rest easier now knowing she could face anything the world threw at her. She was almost disappointed when nothing exciting came along, aside from a few centipedes crossing her path. Gross, she thought, side-stepping and continuing on her way. So distracted was she that she didn't notice a new wolf until they were nearly snout to snout. She tripped and stumbled backward, startled, but quickly overcame this, jumping up and greeting the stoic wolf with enthusiasm. Azelkalen was easily enchanted, despite never learning the wolf's name the entire time she stayed with them. It was almost too quiet... like a long-forgotten dream that she had to leave behind whether she wanted to or not. [17818 added acorn bundle decor]
