Ahene grew up in a small pack, a family pack- her parents leading with her siblings helping the pack survive. It was winter when their pack grew low on supplies, and a sacrifice was made- Ahene, and their two brothers were cast out at just a few months old, and were told to fend for themselves. As the eldest of the litter, Ahene did his absolute best to ensure his brother's survival, but nothing worked. She'd been gone on a little search for food, and came back to find an eagle flying off with the runt of the little. A week later, the last brother froze to death in their arms. With a harsh attachment issue, he has always been itching for a family to take care of, and watch grow old.
