Smoulder

After the wildfire that consumed the Wildfire Pack's territory burnt out, Smoulder was nowhere to be found. Fire, Cinder, and Ashes all searched for her for days, but apart from her three newly-weaned puppies no sign of her remains. (27/11/20)

Smoulder's first litter was whelped in secret. She's keeping them near Her grove for now, in hopes that they'll take strength from Her, but she has plans to return to the pack as soon as she can. (20/11/20)

All three of River's new puppies are Flame-touched, and to rub shit into the wound they were born on the same day that Smoulder was kicked out of Raccoon's hunting party. She hates all three of them, she hates Raccoon, and she hates Scarlet with a passion that's starting to consume her. (08/11/20)

Having integrated with Raccoon's hunting party out of necessity, Smoulder is struggling to accept that she isn't the great hunter she built herself up to be. Her plain, ordinary brother has settled in and does his job well, while she, Flame-touched and brilliant, struggles with both hunting properly and listening to her packmates' orders, especially those of Raccoon and Burn. Not only that, her intense jealousy towards Scarlet has only grown, and the temptation to do... Something to make Scarlet's perfect black-and-red coat less perfect somehow only grows by the hour. Now considered an adult in the pack, Smoulder has eagerly formed her own hunting party with her brother, Ashes. Her eagerness to succeed has led her to ignore his confidence issues, and only time will tell if her party will fall apart or become successful. (25/10/20)

Smoulder's desire to become the head hunter has only grown stronger as she's gotten older. She's become less and less interested in her brother and his quietness, and follows Raccoon around like a hungry raven. On the inside, she holds a zealous faith in the Flame - she's been blessed by it, inside and out, and she's going to prove to everyone that she's the only one worthy to be considered so. (20/10/20)

The second puppy in Cinder and Fire's first litter, Smoulder is like her Da in every way imaginable. Charming, talkative, and with a pelt seemingly blessed by the Flame, Smoulder is full of a great love for life and her pack - though that may be because she's never met anyone else. Her nose seems to be stronger than anyone else's in the pack already, and she has ambitions of being the best hunter anyone has ever seen.
