Planification and efficacy are truly Witkryt's forte, even though the terrain is still mostly unknown to her as is team work. Every failed hunt means a lesson to Witkryt, and more strategies to perfect. The other wolves in the hunting party - especially Rhett - respect her for her seniority and her sharp wit. The paler Stonefang has been falling short lately, and Rhett is the first to console them after a failed hunt, which has made them grow a little closer.

Buyan's request for pups caught Witkryt a little offguard. The brash wolf didn't look the type to think about the idea of motherhood fondly, but Witkryt herself wants a little family of her own one day when the pack is better established, so who is she to say Buyan wouldn't make a fit mother? She has already proven prudent by waiting for the first pups to be grown and able to fend for themselves to get pregnant, so when Buyan asked if she could be dismissed from the hunting party until her pups are weaned, the group has agreed to let her spend as much time with her pups as possible.

Nobody expected Tern to return so quickly from scouting, much less so with a pup. The wolf made a direct bee-line for Symone upon spotting her, and informed her of the boy they found alone in the taiga of all places. They would not leave him there. For a second the air was tense - and some feared Symone would cast out the pup, but her silence was broken by posing a question to her pack; "He cannot be left unattended, who of you can adopt him?" - Rhett and Witkryt answered.

Witkryt didn't think maternity would suit her, but ever since seeing the little shivering furball that is Willamenah she has never left his side. Thankfully, she and Rhett were of one mind as both almost bit Symone's hands off to have him, and though she has a hard time with not hovering over the pup, she makes for a sweet mother, attending him tirelessly and heaping affection onto him.
