Biography
Blackberry's knees gave away, seeing her son's mangled body lying on the forest floor. The Alpha, Snowflake, and Ravenmask and Ambertail and all the other pack members were telling her to leave, telling her it was all right. But it wasn't. Nothing would ever be alright. Moss, Raindrop and Monsoon would grow up without knowing their brother.
Snowflake delicately shifted Mercury's body under the shade of a sacred tree, burying it with flowers. "He'll be alright," she comforted the heartbroken mother. "Come. Let's go."
"Lost where I'll never see him again," Blackberry whispered, getting up to leave. She took one last look at the clump of flowers before leaving her son to rest. In peace.
