In the first weeks of spring when he was only a month old, Visku stumbled into a hunter's trap and, although his mother was able to help him escape, he never seemed to be able to use the leg quite as reliably as he used to. The injury left him favoring cunning and intelligence over his physical size and as he grew his older brother Hreinn recognized his abilities and began training him as the pack's next stalker.
Born the largest pup in the second litter of the first alphas of the Greyfeather Pack, Visku held the weight of the title of Pack Heir. Although he knew his parents would likely have a third litter, and that the largest of those pups would take his place as Pack Heir, he was still expected to act with the qualities of a wise and powerful leader. He led his littermates through a challenging period when their older brother, Fyrstur, refused to give up his own place in the pack and was instrumental in maintaining the peace.
When the pack's third litter was finally born, he participated in training his cunning young sister to take his place and graciously left the pack to make room for her when she came of age.
