"There were plenty of other wolves here before me in the Pack. I was fairly new, actually.." Jackal spoke quietly, huffing in confusion.
"I'm not really sure as to why I was chosen as the next Leader. I didn't think I was fit, but I wasn't going to cower away. I'd never want to disappoint my Pack-mates. Even if I was new to them. I had to make a good impression and prove that I can lead this pack. GroundZero believed in me, so I do, too."

"Ah... so you met Starbomb and Erebus?" Jackal gave an awkward chuckle as he sat down, tail curling around his paws. "They aren't very... friendly, I should say. Open. Welcoming... they were insulted from the day they were born. Ran out of their original homes. I took them in, knowing that my pack accepts everyone no matter what they look like or how strong they are."
"They told me some of their secrets. Things from the future, and a few have happened already. It's terrifying, really.." Jackal trailed off, eyes losing focus as he spaced out. He shook his head soon after, eyes blinking rapidly as he sighed, "No matter, though. They're smarter than you would first think them to be. Maybe you should go back and tell them about the times you have been insulted in the past."

"Sentai? He entered just a few hours ago. Starbomb and Erebus found him shivering against a tree at the end of winter. He's a recent addition- a welcome one, at that."
