Lakerna was the pack's first medic, which meant she'd make a good example. After retiring due to illness and being too weak to serve her pack, Lakerna was left to waste away to the effects of Distemper in her own lonely cave. After that, the Grand General faced no outward opposition. Looks like he found a way to make use of poor old Lakerna afterall.
