Zenaida is a newcomer to the pack, but Solitaire has quickly taken this youngster under her wolf-wings- a daughter, of sorts, for Solitaire's daughters rarely stay long. Fulvi, who has returned after all these years, and Bulbul, who has never left, are the lone exceptions, and it has been a lonely time since.

Both Solitaire and Alcedo are quickly growing to see Zen as their daughter, but the leader of the pack has been ill, of late.

One can only wonder what might happen.

It has been a short time since Zenaida has joined the Half-Light Pack, and the ailing she-wolf she has so readily called 'mother' has passed. Bulbul is too shy, and Fulvi too inexperienced to take the lead, and Cyanea too exhausted- it falls to Zenaida to pick up the slack.

She has taken the leadership role in stride, inexperienced though she may be-

And she is glorious.

"Mother was always cautious," Zenaida says, tilting her head to the side, "Too cautious, perhaps. Quick on the draw, yes, but never the brightest star around her."

"I do suppose she was," Fulvi replies, stretching her paws out in front of her, "Why?"

"I wish to be brighter," the dove-wolf hums, "The Red Wind is fierce beyond all measure, despite her humble beginnings. I... feel some kinship, I suppose. And I wish to make our mother proud."

Columbina is... loud, she has found.

Zenaida is quiet- she's always been quiet. It's one of the things that used to get her mother to cuff her around the head and laugh at her for being so serious. Her sisters are... scattered, but Fulvi is quiet and bitter, and while Bulbul is bright-eyed, she doesn't speak much.

Columbina is friendly, and she is loud.

And Zenaida can't help but love her for it.
