anxious: Skink won't say what she was running from, when she tumbled into the swamp - but it was something, that's for sure, and every day she looks over her shoulder like her past is creeping up.

combative: fear makes her prone to baring her teeth first and asking questions later. arguments quickly turn nasty when she's involved; she strikes just as hard with words as she does with fangs, like she's making sure anything that could hurt her stays down for good.

Siwur: they fell in with each other fairly quickly, recognising kindred fearful souls reflected in their eyes. this could have gone very badly, but Siwur has a loving family behind him as support; through him Skink has been introduced to wolves who actually care, and has developed something of a social circle.

Henigril: friend and fellow member of the Howling Hunt. it was Henigril who convinced her hunting team to take Skink in, when she was new and unknown - at Siwur's behest, but soon enough their friendship was a genuine one. with Henigril around, Skink feels just a little bit less like she needs to defend herself.
