The hunt is always too small with Wheat in the Wind. If it was a deer it should have been an elk, if it was an elk it should have been a bison. If, by some miracle it was a bison, he'd complain that they spent more energy hunting it than they'd ever get out of it before it rotted.
Some wolves just can't be pleased.
