...The lunar-gifted pup leaped for her sister with a playful growl, the two tumbling around in the grass. Dau looked over, laughing and the pups managed to mess up their pelts even more. "Come 'ere you two, you're all messy." The heavy-set den mother grumbled good-naturedly. "But Dau...." Saffir started and Golau piped up "we just wanna play!! We don't neeed to be clean." She dragged out the 'e' and ended with an annoyed huff...

The memory faded and the sitter looked over to her sister, who was still talking with the pups. She was always amused, they had been trained as hunters then Dau passed and they took on the role of Den Mother. Or, Den Mothers, really. With Fy being the lead they didn't have many set heads of groups but the sitters did have a slightly clearer hierarchy. There were three of them that worked together, Gwydr was the other, but the twins did most of the leading. Golau let out a sigh, glancing to the sleeping pups beside her before starting to doze off again. She should focus on what was happening in the future... like the ceremony for one of the adolescents....
